GoPod 30-Day Money-Back Guarantee
1. What the guarantee is. When you buy a new office pod directly from GoPod.ca, you may return it within 30 calendar days of the day its installation is completed at your premises, for any reason, under the terms below. The trial period starts on the installation completion date shown on your installation sign-off, not on the delivery date.
2. What you get back. Your refund is the product purchase price shown on your invoice, less the deductions in
section 5. The refund is issued to your original payment method. Sales taxes are credited on the refunded amount in accordance with applicable tax rules, and GoPod will issue a credit note for your records.
3. The charges that are never refunded. The original delivery freight and the original professional installation charges are payment for services already performed, and they are not refundable.
4. How to start a return. Email info@gopod.ca before the end of the 30th calendar day and tell us you want to return the pod. GoPod will arrange de-assembly and return freight, normally within 10 business days of your notice. The pod stays in your care, in its installed location, until our installer collects it. Do not move, dismantle, or modify the pod yourself after giving notice.
5. Deductions from the refund. The following actual costs are deducted from the product purchase price:
De-assembly and repacking, charged at the same rate as the installation quoted for your model.
Return freight to GoPod's Burnaby warehouse, at the carrier's actual cost for your unit and distance.
Repair of any damage beyond normal office wear, at cost, and replacement of any missing accessories, keys, or components, at cost.
6. When the refund is issued. No refund is issued while the pod is in transit. Once the unit is back safe in our Burnaby warehouse and has passed inspection, the refund is issued within 10 business days, using the calculation in sections 2, 3, and 5.
7. Condition on return. The pod must come back in substantially the same condition it was installed in, normal wear from ordinary office use excepted, with all accessories and components included. The customer is responsible for the pod's care, and for any loss or damage, while it is on their premises.
8. Worked example (the numbers from our own product line). Atom Collaborative Lounge Pod, $17,995. Installation $1,500 and outbound shipping $500 were charged on the original order, for $19,995 paid in total. The customer returns it inside 30 days. De-assembly is $1,500 and return shipping is $500, so the refund is $17,995 less $1,500 less $500, which is $15,995. GoPod retains $4,000 of the original payment, which covers the original installation, the original shipping, the de-assembly, and the return shipping. If the return freight for a longer distance costs more than $500, the refund is reduced by that actual amount instead, using the same calculation.
9. Exclusions.
Custom and special-order finishes and configurations are excluded. A customized unit cannot be resold as standard stock.
The trial covers the first pod a customer buys. Additional pods on the same order, or later orders, are covered by the standard warranty only.
Pods bought on financing or leasing are governed by the lender's agreement, not by this trial.
Where a customer's own procurement contract or purchase order terms conflict with these terms, the contract terms govern that order.
Pods that have been moved, dismantled, or modified by anyone other than GoPod or a GoPod-approved installer cannot be returned under the trial.
10. Other points. The trial does not change the GoPod warranty, which applies in full to every pod a customer keeps. GoPod may change or end this offer for future orders at any time. Any order placed while the offer is in effect keeps the trial terms stated on its quote and invoice.
