SHIPPING AND DELIVERY POLICY

Effective Date: August 28, 2026

This Shipping and Delivery Policy applies to products supplied by 1603979 B.C. Ltd., operating as GoPod.ca (“GoPod,” “we,” “us” or “our”).

This policy should be read together with the applicable quotation or order confirmation, the GoPod Terms and Conditions of Sale, Payment and Cancellation Policy, and Warranty Policy. If a signed quotation or order contains different delivery terms, the signed document will apply to that order.

Shipping Arrangements

GoPod supplies acoustic office pods, privacy booths, office furniture, accessories and related products throughout British Columbia.

Delivery charges are quoted separately based on destination, order size, delivery method and site requirements. Freight costs will be identified in the applicable quotation or order confirmation before the order is finalized.

Deliveries to rural or remote locations, destinations outside standard carrier service areas, or sites requiring special freight arrangements may be subject to additional charges. These may include lift-gate service, inside delivery, appointment delivery, limited-access service, special handling or other carrier requirements.

Products may be shipped directly from the manufacturer, supplier or another distribution location to the customer’s designated delivery address. GoPod does not operate a public warehouse or customer pickup location unless specifically stated in writing.

Where approved in advance, a customer may arrange its own carrier or freight service. Any customer-arranged shipping requirements must be confirmed with GoPod before the order is released.

Delivery Information

Before an order is released for shipment, the customer must provide and confirm:

The complete delivery address.

The receiving contact’s name, telephone number and email address.

The requested delivery date or delivery window.

The site’s receiving hours and access restrictions.

Whether a loading dock, forklift or lift-gate service is required.

Any appointment, security, parking or building-access requirements.

The customer must notify GoPod promptly if any delivery information changes. Address changes made after an order has been prepared or released may result in additional freight, storage, redirection or administrative charges.

Delivery Method and Charges

Delivery charges are quoted separately and will be identified on the quotation or order confirmation. Pricing may vary based on destination, order size, carrier requirements and the level of delivery service requested.

Standard freight delivery does not include moving products within the building, unpacking, assembly, debris removal or installation unless those services are specifically included in the quotation or order confirmation.

Additional charges may apply for rural or remote locations, limited-access sites, lift-gate service, inside delivery, storage, redelivery, address changes, special handling or other services outside the quoted delivery arrangement. GoPod will confirm known additional charges with the customer whenever reasonably possible before the order is finalized.

Professional installation is a separate service and is not included in the advertised product price unless specifically stated in writing.

Taxes are determined based on the delivery destination, the nature of the transaction and the documentation available to GoPod.

Delivery Dates and Lead Times

The applicable quotation or order will identify the delivery method, delivery location and the scheduled or best available delivery or supply date.

Manufacturing and delivery dates are based on the information available when the order is accepted. GoPod will make commercially reasonable efforts to meet confirmed dates, but delivery timing may be affected by inventory availability, production schedules, carrier capacity, weather, road closures, labour disruptions, customs, port congestion, building access or other circumstances outside GoPod’s reasonable control.

GoPod will communicate material changes when reasonably possible. A delay outside GoPod’s reasonable control does not automatically cancel the order or entitle the customer to a refund, subject to any rights that cannot legally be excluded.

Tracking and Delivery Appointments

When tracking information is available, GoPod or the carrier will provide it to the customer or receiving contact.

Freight carriers may contact the receiving party directly to arrange a delivery appointment. The customer is responsible for ensuring that the contact information supplied to GoPod is accurate and that someone is available to receive the shipment during the confirmed delivery window.

Delivery windows provided by carriers are estimates and may change due to routing, traffic, weather or other operating conditions.

Site Access and Readiness

Before delivery, the customer is responsible for confirming that the destination is ready and suitable for the products and services ordered.

This includes confirming doorway, hallway, stairwell and elevator dimensions; floor-loading requirements; loading and parking access; electrical requirements; working clearances; building rules; permits or approvals; and any required protective materials.

The customer must disclose stairs, long carries, restricted elevators, limited parking, construction conditions, after-hours requirements and other conditions that may affect delivery or installation.

Additional labour, equipment, storage, return trips or other costs caused by undisclosed or unsuitable site conditions may be charged to the customer.

Receiving the Shipment

The customer or an authorized representative should be present to receive the shipment and sign the carrier’s delivery receipt.

Before signing, the receiving party should inspect the pallet, crate and visible packaging for damage, shortages or signs of mishandling. Any visible issue should be described clearly on the carrier’s delivery receipt. Writing “subject to inspection” alone may not be sufficient for a freight claim.

Photographs should be taken of the shipment, packaging, pallet, labels and any visible damage before the product is moved or unpacked.

Unless immediate refusal is required for safety reasons or directed by GoPod, customers should contact GoPod before refusing a shipment whenever reasonably possible.

Freight Damage and Shortages

Visible or concealed freight damage, missing packages or shortages must be reported to info@gopod.ca as soon as possible and preferably within 48 hours after delivery.

The report should include:

The order or invoice number.

The delivery date.

A description of the damage or shortage.

Photographs of the packaging, pallet, labels and affected components.

A copy or photograph of the signed delivery receipt.

The customer must keep all packaging, pallets, crates and damaged components until GoPod confirms they may be discarded. Failure to document damage, notify the carrier or retain packaging may affect the ability to process a freight claim, but does not limit rights that cannot legally be excluded.

GoPod will review the claim and determine the appropriate remedy in accordance with the carrier’s terms, supplier requirements, the GoPod Warranty Policy and applicable law. Depending on the circumstances, the remedy may include replacement parts, repair, product replacement or another reasonable solution.

Customer-Arranged Freight

If the customer appoints its own carrier, the customer is responsible for coordinating pickup, insurance, delivery and freight claims unless otherwise agreed in writing.

Risk of loss or damage for customer-arranged freight passes to the customer when the product is released to the customer’s carrier. GoPod will provide reasonable product information to support a claim but is not responsible for administering a claim against a carrier selected by the customer.

Any pricing adjustment or freight credit associated with customer-arranged shipping must be agreed to by GoPod in writing before the order is released.

Missed, Failed or Delayed Delivery

The customer may be responsible for storage, redelivery, waiting time, rescheduling, address correction, after-hours delivery or other carrier charges if:

No authorized person is available to receive the shipment.

The delivery information is incorrect or incomplete.

The destination refuses or cannot accept the shipment.

Building access or site conditions were not disclosed.

The customer requests a delivery delay after the product has been released or scheduled.

GoPod will notify the customer of additional charges when reasonably possible.

Installation and Customer-Arranged Installation

Professional installation is optional and available at the starting prices shown for each GoPod model. Installation is included only when specifically listed in the quotation or order confirmation.

Installation services may be performed by an independent installation provider coordinated by GoPod. Final installation pricing may vary based on location, site access, stairs, elevators, parking, after-hours requirements, special equipment or other project-specific conditions. The installation scope and final price will be confirmed before the order is finalized.

Customers may choose to arrange installation of eligible products using their own qualified installation resources.

Damage caused by incorrect assembly, unauthorized modification, improper electrical connection, misuse, unsuitable site conditions or failure to follow the installation instructions is not considered a manufacturing defect and may not be covered by warranty.

Changes, Returns and Final Sale

Delivery changes must be approved by GoPod in writing and may result in additional charges or a revised delivery date.

Except for an approved freight-damage claim, warranty claim, authorized return or a right provided by applicable law, products released to the carrier are final sale and cannot be returned because of a change of mind.

Custom, configured, reserved and made-to-order products are not returnable except where required by law or expressly authorized by GoPod in writing.

Title and Risk

Legal title to products remains with GoPod until all amounts owing for the order have been received in cleared funds.

For GoPod-arranged freight, risk of loss or damage generally passes to the customer upon delivery to the confirmed destination, subject to the carrier’s terms, any applicable insurance and the freight-claim provisions of this policy.

For customer-arranged freight, risk passes as described in the Customer-Arranged Freight section above.

Statutory Rights

Nothing in this policy limits or excludes any right or remedy that cannot be waived under applicable consumer-protection or other laws.
