PAYMENT AND CANCELLATION POLICY

Effective date: August 28, 2026

This Payment and Cancellation Policy applies to products and services supplied by 1603979 B.C. Ltd., operating as GoPod.ca.

By approving an estimate or quotation, signing an order document, issuing a purchase order, paying a deposit or other amount, or otherwise instructing GoPod to proceed, the Customer agrees to this policy and the GoPod Terms and Conditions of Sale.

ORDER AND PAYMENT OPTIONS

The payment schedule for each order will be confirmed on the applicable estimate, quotation, order confirmation or invoice.

GoPod offers the following standard payment arrangements:

IN-STOCK PRODUCTS FOR IMMEDIATE SHIPMENT

The amount due includes the product price, applicable taxes, professional installation if selected, and all quoted delivery, freight or project charges. Delivery charges are quoted separately based on destination, order size, delivery method and site requirements unless specifically stated otherwise in the applicable quotation or order confirmation.

IN-STOCK PRODUCTS RESERVED FOR LATER SHIPMENT

When an in-stock product is available but the Customer does not want it shipped immediately, a deposit equal to 50% of the order amount is required to reserve the product.

The remaining balance, including applicable taxes, professional installation if selected, and any additional delivery, freight or project charges, is due when the Customer provides written authorization to ship and before the product is released.

The product is not reserved until the deposit has been received in cleared funds. The expected reservation and shipment period will be confirmed in the order documents.

Storage, handling or rescheduling charges may apply when shipment is delayed beyond the agreed period at the Customer’s request. GoPod will advise the Customer of these charges before they are incurred whenever reasonably possible.

PRODUCTS NOT CURRENTLY IN STOCK OR MADE TO ORDER

A deposit equal to 50% of the order amount is required to place an order for a product that is not currently in stock or is being manufactured, configured or finished specifically for the Customer.

The remaining balance, including applicable taxes, professional installation if selected, and all quoted delivery, freight or project charges, must be paid before the product is released for shipment.

Estimated availability and delivery dates are provided in good faith and may change because of manufacturing schedules, product availability, freight conditions or circumstances beyond GoPod’s reasonable control.

CUSTOM OR LARGE ORDERS

GoPod may require a different payment schedule for custom configurations, large quantity orders, special finishes or projects involving substantial third-party commitments.

Any different payment schedule will be clearly stated in the quotation, estimate or sales agreement before the Customer approves the order.

DEPOSITS AND PRODUCT RESERVATIONS

A deposit authorizes GoPod to reserve inventory, place orders with suppliers, secure production capacity, purchase materials, arrange freight or make other financial commitments required to fulfil the Customer’s order.

Once GoPod or its supplier has reserved or allocated inventory, begun production, ordered materials or incurred costs for the order, the deposit becomes non-refundable except where otherwise required by law.

A quotation, purchase order or verbal commitment does not reserve a product. Inventory is reserved only after the required deposit or full payment has been received in cleared funds and GoPod has provided written order confirmation.

CUSTOMER CANCELLATIONS

Cancellation requests must be submitted in writing to info@gopod.ca.

If a cancellation request is received before GoPod or its supplier has reserved inventory, begun production or incurred costs, GoPod may approve a refund, less any non-recoverable transaction or administrative costs permitted by law.

If the cancellation request is received after GoPod or its supplier has committed inventory, production capacity, materials, freight arrangements or other costs to the order, the deposit will be forfeited.

Where documented, non-recoverable costs exceed the deposit received, the Customer may also be responsible for those additional costs if this responsibility was disclosed in the accepted quotation, estimate or sales agreement.

Requested changes to an accepted order may be treated as a cancellation and replacement order when the original product, configuration, finish or other commitment cannot reasonably be changed.

DELAYS OUTSIDE GOPOD’S CONTROL

Manufacturing, availability, shipment and installation dates are estimates provided in good faith and are not guaranteed unless GoPod expressly agrees otherwise in writing.

GoPod is not responsible for delays caused by manufacturers, suppliers, freight carriers, customs, weather, labour interruptions, public emergencies, site conditions or other circumstances beyond GoPod’s reasonable control.

A delay caused by circumstances beyond GoPod’s reasonable control does not automatically entitle the Customer to cancel an order or receive a refund of a deposit. Nothing in this section limits a cancellation or refund right that cannot lawfully be excluded.

CANCELLATION BY GOPOD

If GoPod cancels an order without cause before the product has been supplied, GoPod will refund amounts received for the cancelled and undelivered products or services.

GoPod will not be responsible for lost profits, business interruption or other indirect losses arising from the cancellation, except where liability cannot lawfully be excluded.

PRODUCTS RELEASED FOR SHIPMENT

Except for an approved freight damage claim, a defect covered by an applicable written warranty, a return authorized by GoPod in writing, or a remedy required by law, all sales are final once the product has been released by GoPod or its supplier to the carrier.

Shipped products cannot be returned or exchanged without prior written authorization from GoPod.

PAYMENT METHODS AND CLEARED FUNDS

Accepted payment methods will be shown on the applicable estimate or invoice.

Payment is considered received only when the funds have cleared and are available to GoPod. Products will not be reserved, ordered or released based solely on proof that a payment has been initiated.

FINANCING AND LEASING

Financing and leasing may be available through independent third-party providers.

Financing approval, interest rates, documentation, payment schedules and other financing terms are determined by the financing provider. GoPod does not guarantee financing approval.

The Customer remains responsible for satisfying all order and payment requirements unless GoPod confirms an alternative arrangement in writing.

STATUTORY RIGHTS

Nothing in this policy limits any consumer protection, cancellation, refund or other right that cannot legally be waived or excluded.

For consumer purchases, GoPod will comply with applicable requirements concerning pre-contract disclosures, contract copies, delivery dates, cancellations and refunds.
